After a dreary month of May, the first good weather of the year luckily coincided with our June bank holiday weekend away in Allihies. The impending sale of the Beara Holiday Homes prompted a move to different quarters from previous years, but since these were closer to the pub, nobody complained.
Garinish Pier was our base, as usual, and we dived some of the old favourite spots like Around The Corner And Up A Bit, and Basking Shark Cuas. We also stumbled across an uncharted wreck off Dursey Island, and some lucky souls got to dive the Bull and the Calf.
Anthony, this is the coolest site. Fair play, much better than the google groups as I’d say easier to find things.

Thanks. Of course it’s not meant to replace the newsgroup, but for stuff that people will need to refer back to at some stage in the future, it should make it easier to find.
