Open Night
12:14 in Community Activities, Cork, Diving, Information, Training by Anthony
Cork Sub Aqua Club’s Open Night will be held upstairs in Counihan’s Bar on Thursday the 18th of January, 2007. All welcome.
Please let us know if you’re coming, by filling in this form.

I have no diving experience but am interested in getting some information at least about what the training involves. I hope to attend the open night next Thurs but I am wondering how long the meeting will go on for? Unfortunately there’s also somewhere else I’m supposed to be that night.
Hi Vanessa, We would hope to be finished by 9pm. If you need to leave earlier then we can get one of our committee members to have a chat with you to discuss any questions you may have. Format for the evening is to let new people know more about our club, the diving we do, what’s involved with training, Schedules, costs for joining the club. Then if people are interested we’ll get them to fill out a registration form and to pay a deposit. In the mean time please have a look at the medical form I emailed you today to ensure there’s is nothing that could prevent you from diving.
We would also hope to have local dive shop reps there to give details of their equipment special offers.
Don.
Hi,
I have a PADI open water cert. Im keen to sign up with a club in the Cork region and would like to develop my experience and skills further. Could you please give me some outline as to what your club requires for membership, and what the programme of training during the Winter etc is like.
Regards
Sean
Our Training Officer should be able to reply with more specific details in due course, but in the meantime you can find links to information on qualifications etc on our website at http://www.corksac.com/form.html and a form to fill out to register your interest.
Generally speaking, not a lot of activity goes on during the Winter though due to rough sea conditions.
